The locks on this stretch are mostly paired. Met a nice lady from nb Betty Sturgees also liveaboards. We worked a few locks together. Weather gorgeous and scenery goo the flora has changed again the herb willow is out. Still ducklings a plenty in various sizes.
Did 15 locks before mooring at Hassall Green - a bit near the M6 but still!
Had a wander around village which was quite dead half of it seems to be for sale and the Roaming Donkey was not only closed but appeared to be falling down.
Warm enough to sit out but the evenings are already getting shorter.
