Day 39 - Hassall Green to Wheelock

Continued down Heartbreak Hill mooring at Wheelock village. Decided to walk the 1.5 miles to Sandbach where there was a market. The lady from whom I bought the dress for Anna was there - told her Rachael liked the dress. Had lunch overlooking the market by the two ancient crosses.

The main event of the day was that Paul found a gentleman's outfitters where he bought a replacement hat!

After walking back to the boat we were greeted by Chris and Ed from nb Rhiannon. We will be parting ways in Middlewich after first meeting them back on the Caldon in June. They are heading for Chester.

Strolled to the Cheshire Cheese pub - a local pub - no food as the landlord was at a wedding! Had a couple of drinks before going into the Barchetta restaurant for a delicious pizza.
