Day 67 - Pennington Flash to Worsley

Saturday 8th August

7 miles

A rare sunny morning
A beautiful hot sunny morning . Able to have breakfast outside. Decided to stay and listen to end of 4th test in the sunshine. England secured the ashes within the hour.

Finished pink bobbly cardi and started turquoise jumper for Miss Anna!

Approaching Worsley
Cruised to Worsley in the afternoon passing a moto-cross meeting on the way. Scary - bikes jumping feet off the ground over hills.

Saw a bride and groom having photos in Worsley on a narrowboat and on the bridge. Worsley very busy a coach load going to Georges and another party gathering for a boat trip. Walked to the Barton Arms for a drink.
