Day 71 - The flash to Wheelock

A misty morning in the flash

A very misty morning we could hardly see the boat moored behind us. Cruised into Middlewich where we met a couple at big lock on a hireboat. Husband wanted to live on board wife hated it had to give her lock training. Stopped for water and a quick Tesco shop before heading to Wheelock. By now the weather was beautiful and probably the hottest of our trip.

Sunny mooring at Wheelock

Moored at visitor moorings which got very busy as the evening progressed. Went to the Italian restaurant where we sat outside only to get annoyed by a wandering dog sniffing around and a mother winding up her 5 year old and then telling him off. Moved to the Cheshire Cheese before going to the Indian restaurant - very good meal even if they did bring me the wrong curry!
