Great fun going down Stoke locks today. Lots of people to chat with including the occupants of two boats that came through the tunnel with us - the women are sisters. Sister on boat in front was a nervous wreck - didn't really enjoy boating which made me smile as their boat was called Aquaholic. Rob the lock soon appeared. He rides around on a pushbike helping at the locks. It is his hobby. He was very excited as the flight was busy and he was handing out his business cards with gusto. He is going to Birmingham this afternoon to pick up a boat called Millie B 3 and bring it back to Stoke. I told him we would look out for him and give him a wave.
Rain threatened as we approached Stone so we decided to moor above the locks for an evening of TV.
